Tesla raises price of Model Y and lowers price of Model 3 in US

 

Tesla increased Model Y & decreased some Model 3 prices in the U.S. Friday night.

According to Tesla's website, Tesla has raised the price of its U.S. Model Y models to $54,990 for the Model Y Long Range version and $57,990 for the Model Y Performance, a price increase of $2,000 and $1,000 respectively.

Model 3 RWD is reduced from $43,990 to $43,390, a $600 drop. model 3 Performance is unchanged.

Tesla slashed the prices of several of its models earlier this month to spur demand and qualify for a $7,500 federal electric vehicle credit. The Austin, Texas-based company sells cars directly to consumers and regularly adjusts prices.
